What is snoring

Snoring is not just an annoying habit that can affect the quality of your – not to mention your bedfellow’s – sleep. It is also a potentially dangerous condition that, at worst, can be a symptom of a life-threatening condition, such as obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA).

Most people snore occasionally, but men are 50% more likely to snore than women. While it may be a fairly common complaint, snoring is not normal – or healthy. Snoring is usually not a serious problem.
